10 Strategic Tips on How To Achieve High Visibility In Your Target Market
5 DO’s and 5 DONT’s

THE FIVE DO’S:

Strategic Tip #1: DO commit to and act as a strategic leader. Be proactive
and seize the opportunity to step forward and lead.

Strategic Tip #2: DO commit to be and be a rapport builder. High visibility
people develop rapport with almost every individual with whom they come in contact.
Highly visible people are communication builders.

Strategic Tip #3: DO commit to and be a contributor. Give, not for the
opportunity to get, but because you recognize that ultimately it will
result in more opportunities to give.

Strategic Tip #4: DO commit to and be an idea generator. Highly visible
people are seen as resources and people who can really help move a business,
an organization and/or ideas forward.

Strategic Tip #5: DO commit to and become involved in the whole process.
Highly visible people demonstrate their intentions with their actions. They “walk the talk.”

THE FIVE DON’TS

Strategic Tip #6: DON’T limit yourself to simply being a joiner. And don’t attend
only a meeting or two with sole purpose to sell something.

Strategic Tip #7: DON’T be a “non-involved” member of an organization. Don’t
stand in the background.

Strategic Tip #8: DON’T expect prospects to come to you without you reaching
out to them. Don’t expect anything to happen if you don’t initiate contact.

Strategic Tip #9: DON’T limit yourself to meeting only a few people. Don’t limit
your influence to a small group of prospects you actually meet.

Strategic Tip #10: DON’T limit yourself to producing only a few contacts per opportunity.
Don’t exhibit a lack of energy or enthusiasm when faced with an opportunity to meet and
interact with people in your target market.

There are quite a number of business leaders across the globe that are able to recognize the beauty of having a good strategy in the business. With this, they are able to draw strategic map easily. This is critical in building the good performance of the enterprise. No matter what your business is or what kind of industry you are involved in, you should be able to provide a good strategy plan for your company to thrive.

When it comes to strategy mapping, this is actually considered more of an art than science. Sure, you have the right to modify your business strategy as you map it out since it is as unique as the company itself. It is important that you are able to provide a good framework for your strategy map. So how do you do this? It is actually easy but first it is important that you draw strategic map on a piece of paper first before you actually sue an application such as Microsoft Word. In the Word document, you can actually use the drawing toolbar or you can opt for a graphic layout application.

The first thing that you can do is to write the vision statement of your company at the topmost page. You can draw four shapes here to represent the important perspective of your organization namely financial, internal processes in the business, employee learning and customer. You can now place your goals for the next three years or so. This can be located just below the vision statement. You can put arrows that will point to the goals so that this will remind you about that they are interconnected with each other. You can also input the relationship between the goals. Finally you have your strategic map. Of course, you do not have to follow those as your own process. This is just a guide that will help you understand how to create the map.

Now based on the map that you have created, you can take a look at it and this will help you visualize on what you really want for your company to become. This is also one of the reasons why there are a lot of business leaders today who have already drawn their business strategy. This is their method of ensuring that the policies of their business are well taken care of.

Another reason why companies use this is because they can develop and implement new strategies that will lead them into success. Once you have your own map and you take a look at it regularly, you will realize just what you have to do. In the end, you will have a clearer vision as to what you will have to do in order for your company to achieve its goals.

While it can be hard to compete in the market today because there are a lot of rivals, you can always find ways on how to outdo them. Strategy mapping will help you accomplish this task.
